The Strip...
For Don, a late night pizza resulted in a sleepless night
and the idea for Li'l Monsters. Don drew a few rough characters
sketches, scrawled out the first six script ideas, and sent them to
his old art school chum. Michael suggested a large dose of coffee
for his bleary-eyed buddy and some fine-tuning for the comic strip
concept.
So begins the
soon-to-be-legend of the creation of Li'l Monsters -- a pizza, two
artistic mad scientists, a fondness for Calvin and Hobbes, and waaay
too many reruns of old monster movies and The Munsters! |
